The King George Unplugged: Open Mic & Karaoke

  • The King George 108 N George St York, PA, 17401 United States (map)

On the second and fourth Thursdays of each month, The King George Speakeasy opens its stage for an approachable open mic followed by karaoke. Hosted by Erin Levine, the evening begins with open mic at 6:30, welcoming singers, musicians, spoken word performers, and first-timers in a supportive, low-pressure environment designed to make live performance feel accessible rather than intimidating.
After open mic, the night transitions into karaoke, shifting the focus to fun, energy, and letting loose with friends. Whether you’re taking the mic or cheering from the crowd, the goal of the night is simple: create a welcoming space for creativity, connection, and shared experience downstairs at The King George Speakeasy.

Erin Levine is a York local whose musical roots began at open mic nights, where she quickly found her footing and became a familiar face in the local scene. Her acoustic style blends classic rock, pop, country, and well-loved crowd favorites, creating sets that are relaxed, approachable, and meant to be enjoyed with a drink in hand. As host of The King George’s Open Mic & Karaoke nights, Erin brings an easy, welcoming presence that keeps the room comfortable for first-timers and seasoned performers alike, encouraging participation while letting the night unfold naturally.
