The King George Unplugged: Open Mic & Karaoke

  • The King George 108 N George St York, PA, 17401 United States (map)

Every second and fourth Thursday, The King George Speakeasy opens the stage for a night that blends creativity, confidence, and just the right amount of chaos.
Hosted by Erin Levine, the evening flows naturally between open mic and karaoke all night long. Singers, musicians, spoken word performers, and first-timers are all welcome in a supportive, low-pressure environment that makes stepping up to the mic feel exciting rather than intimidating. Whether you’re sharing an original song, covering a favorite classic, or grabbing the mic on impulse, the room meets you with energy and encouragement.

Downstairs, lights low, cocktails in hand, and a stage that’s open to anyone ready to take it.

Erin Levine is a York local whose musical roots began at open mic nights, where she quickly found her footing and became a familiar face in the local scene. Her acoustic style blends classic rock, pop, country, and well-loved crowd favorites, creating sets that are relaxed, approachable, and meant to be enjoyed with a drink in hand. As host of The King George’s Open Mic & Karaoke nights, Erin brings an easy, welcoming presence that keeps the room comfortable for first-timers and seasoned performers alike, encouraging participation while letting the night unfold naturally.
